Lajosmizse keeps the vibes going all year round with an exciting cultural lineup from the Town Cultural Center and Library. Think summer night concerts, outdoor movies, theater shows, exhibits, fairs, and tasty gastro events welcoming locals and visitors alike.
March Kickoff
March 14 features the Local Products Festival: a market bursting with baked goods, pickles, jams, chocolate, dragées, honey from local producers, and tons more goodies. Craft sessions with master flower arranger Éva Burger and an interactive pálinka distilling demo. At 3 p.m., Barkóczi Titanilla’s puppet show Vacskamati virágja (Vacskamati’s Flower). At 5 p.m., Bon-Bon concert. Same day, cloisonné enamel workshop. March 15: solemn commemoration of the 1848/49 revolution and freedom fight. March 16 at the Town Cultural House, Noémi Orvos-Tóth lectures on breaking inherited family patterns. March 19: baby movement morning with Klára Rimóczi in the library. March 21 and 28: ceramics and cloisonné workshops. March 23: group sound bath for an inner calm journey. March 27: Board Game Club.
