Star Bruscon (Alföldi Róbert), National Actor, arrives with his troupe but everything goes wrong hours before curtain. Thomas Bernhard’s (1931-1989) savage take on Austrian society and modern life’s absurdities, like a theater stand-up blending raw pain and cocky cluelessness.
