Body and Soul Wellness Renewal Every Thursday

In a stunning setting, sauna master Tóth Tamás hosts sessions every Thursday at 6 p.m., featuring fantastic aromas and music. Total rejuvenation awaits. Follow the sauna master’s advice with 45–50-minute breaks between infusions, which you can spend in the fresh air of the wellness garden. Grab refreshments from the Café & Spritz Bar during downtime. Finnish sauna, steam room, and infrared sauna all run as usual during sessions. Entry only with pre-bought tickets, swapped for wristbands at reception. Finnish and infrared saunas are swimsuit-free; we provide sauna towels and lockers. Sauna here isn’t just sweating—it’s a ritual, a soul-lifting journey inward. Let the heat, steam, scents, and water blend for total renewal. Our sauna world prioritizes harmony and calm: warm colors, natural woods, mood lighting, and quiet spaces for full relaxation.

Our Sauna Types

Finnish sauna (90–95 °C, low humidity): Classic experience for detox, immune boost, stress relief. Regular use boosts circulation, improves sleep, eases tension.
Infrared sauna (50–60 °C): Infrared rays penetrate deep for muscle relaxation, faster recovery—ideal for desk jockeys, athletes, or back pain sufferers.
Steam cabin (40–45 °C, nearly 100% humidity): Warm steam cleanses skin, soothes joints, reduces muscle tightness.

Additional Experiences

Pros
+
Super unique sauna ritual with scents, music, and a sauna master guiding the vibes, way more immersive than your average US spa session.
+
Stunning lakeside spot by Tata's Old Lake with a wellness garden and café breaks for total chill time.
+
Variety of saunas—Finnish for deep detox, infrared for muscle relief, steam for skin glow—caters to different wellness needs.
+
Swimsuit-free zones with towels and lockers provided, hassle-free for travelers packing light.
+
Pre-booked tickets swapped for wristbands ensure smooth entry, no stressful queues on Thursday nights.
+
Easy to reach from Budapest—about an hour by train or car, then a short walk or taxi to Tópart u. 19.
+
Compares favorably to Nordic sauna events but with a cozy Hungarian twist, less crowded than big Finnish festivals.
Cons
Not family-friendly at all—adult-oriented, nude saunas, and evening timing make it tricky with kids.
Tata's a hidden gem but not super well-known to US tourists, who mostly stick to Budapest.
The sauna session topic is niche; while saunas are internationally recognized, this specific weekly event flies under the radar.
Hungarian language isn't strictly required but handy for nuances, as English support might be spotty outside tourist basics.
