Expect concerts, theater performances, festivals, beach vibes, plus guaranteed and optional leisure activities drawing crowds throughout 8314 Vonyarcvashegy across multiple venues. It kicks off on Friday, April 3, through Sunday, April 26.
April Highlights
April 11 brings Open Cellar Days at Festetics Helikon Tavern Cellar. On April 15, dive into Best Musical Innovations, an educational musical journey led by conductor and music teacher Kiss Tamás—featuring snippets from Zoltán Kodály’s Háry János, Ferenc Erkel’s Bánk bán, Bedřich Smetana’s The Moldau (Moldva), burlesque and western film scores, plus tunes from The Lion King (Oroszlánkirály) cartoon. April 18 rocks with Pezseg a Balaton! (Balaton Bubbles!), a spring wine and sparkling wine tasting plus gastro party—Lake Balaton buzzes back to life with sun, epic views, top wines, bubbly vibes, and chill afternoons stretching into nights. That same day, plus April 25, more Open Cellar Days there. From April 3 to 26, Szevasz Terrace (Szevasz Terasz) launches spring wine terrace season at Papp Winery’s panoramic spot. Part of the nationwide Hungarian Wine Szevasz Terrace (Magyar Bor Szevasz Terasz) campaign, nearly 100 wineries host four weekends for savoring spring with killer wines.

August 20-22: Wine and Table Grape Festival (Bor- és Csemegeszőlő Fesztivál). September 13: Vonyarc Village Day and Farewell Festival (Vonyarci Falunap és Búcsú).
