On March 7, the International Women’s Day Flower Run returns for its 12th edition at Border Saddle (Határ-nyereg) (1028 Budapest, Glück Frigyes Road). The start, finish, and event hub are all at the saddle, from where six petal-shaped loops fan out across the hills. There’s no race, no mandatory distance—just pick your own order, collect all six flowers at the far points, and you’ll cover about 10.6 miles in total. Bring your own refreshments; organizers collect a symbolic donation to support logistics.
How It Works
Each loop leads to a “petal” checkpoint where a flower awaits. Complete as many as you like, in any order. The course is social, scenic, and pressure-free—ideal for a spring shakeout or a relaxed community day on the trails.
