For the 29th time, Budapest will host the ZENE-BOR (Music-Wine) celebration on December 30, 2025, featuring the world-famous 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra (100 Tagú Cigányzenekar). This annual tradition brings a dazzling year-end gala concert, renowned for its unmatched energy and unique sound.

An Evening of Iconic Music

The two-part performance blends virtuoso Gypsy music with beloved classical works and traditional folk melodies, all brought together by the orchestra’s distinctive orchestration. This year, the concert continues the tradition by featuring cherished tunes from Franz Lehár (Ferenc Lehár) and Emmerich Kálmán (Imre Kálmán), performed by popular soloists from the Budapest Operetta Theatre (Operettszínház). Legendary conductor and lead violinist József Lendvai Csócsi (Lendvai Csócsi József) leads the musicians, closing the concert with their trademark renditions of “Nightingale” (Pacsirta) and the “Radetzky March”—accompanied by a festive fireworks show.

Food, Wine, and Spectacle

Alongside the music, guests can indulge in an epic culinary experience. Attendees are greeted with a welcome drink, and depending on their ticket category, can enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner—imagine foie gras torchon with candied orange chutney and mangalica (Hungarian heritage pig) ham, guinea fowl consommé, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, and a raspberry-pumpkin seed choux pastry. All this comes with fresh bread, salted butter, fine Hungarian wines (white, red, rosé), mineral water, and coffee. A cold gourmet platter is served for some ticket categories, and vegetarians can request a special menu. Every detail is curated by Executive Chef Ákos Kosztán (Novotel Budapest Congress Center).

Tickets and Prices

There’s a seating category for everyone: from VIP tables (USD 237) with all the trimmings, to simple concert balcony seats starting at USD 52. Organizers may expand 8-person tables to 9 if needed, except when sold as a whole table. The event takes place at 1–3 Jagelló Street (Jagelló u. 1–3.), Budapest 1124. Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule or program.
