The Veres 1 Theater (Veres 1 Színház) in Veresegyház at 2112 Köves utca 14 is gearing up for an exciting 2026 season full of comedies, musicals, and premieres. Whether you’re into indoor gems or summer open-air spectacles at the Mézesvölgy Open-Air Stage (Mézesvölgyi Szabadtéri Színpad) and Mézesvölgy Summer (Mézesvölgyi Nyár) festival, there’s something for every theater lover all year long.
Spring Kickoff
Kick things off on March 18 with Csoportterápia (Group Therapy) – musical comedy in two parts at Veres 1 Színház. Then April brings Bill Manhoff’s A bagoly és a cicababa (The Owl and the Pussycat): catch it on the 22nd for the Dániel subscription, 24th for the Vankó subscription, and 26th for the Sejtes subscription, all at Veres 1 Színház.
Summer Outdoor Sizzle
The outdoor fun starts on June 24 with Francia rúdugrás (French Pole Vault) – comedy at the Mézesvölgy Open-Air Stage. July heats up: Pletykafészek (Gossip Nest) – farce on the 3rd; A Pál utcai fiúk (The Paul Street Boys) – musical play in two parts on the 7th and 8th (as part of Mézesvölgy Summer); A padlás (The Attic) – musical also on the 7th; A dzsungel könyve (The Jungle Book) on the 12th at Mézesvölgy Summer; Menopauza (Menopause) on the 15th; world premiere of Csengetett, Mylord? (Hello, Milord?) on the 21st and 22nd; Rém rendes vendég (Scary Nice Guest) – comedy on the 26th; Ne most, Drágám! (Not Now, Darling!) – comedy on the 28th.
August Grand Finale
August delivers more: Az Ackroyd gyilkosság (The Ackroyd Murder) – crime thriller on the 5th; Anconai szerelmesek (Anconian Lovers) – musical comedy on the 7th and 11th (as Anconai szerelmesek a Balatonon – musical comedy on the 11th); Egy életem életrajzi stand-up est Csuja Imrével (One Life – Biographical Stand-Up with Imre Csuja) on the 15th; Túl a Maszat-hegyen?
