Hungarian cultural icon Róbert Koltai (Koltai Róbert)—Jászai Award-winning, Meritorious Artist, and lifetime member of the Immortals’ Society—is inviting everyone to an unforgettable evening in Budapest on September 13, 2025. Starting at 6:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a blend of entertainment at “Let’s Play! – Stories Served – Theater, Experience, Dinner, Wine” (“JátsszMa! – Történetek Tálalva”).

An Entertaining Show, Personal Stories

Director and interviewer Ildikó Gaál (Gaál Ildikó) will quiz the ever-charismatic Róbert Koltai (Koltai Róbert) as he keeps everyone laughing and reminiscing with storytelling, parody, poems, songs, confessions, and colorful behind-the-scenes tales. Their four joint books—Will I Never Die? (Sose halok meg?), My Cabaret (Az én kabarém), I Buy and Sell Punchlines (Végszót adok-veszek), Koltai 80 Film Book (Koltai 80 Filmeskönyv)—form the framework for the show, sprinkled with Dés songs and iconic teacher parodies. The one-man show lasts 90 minutes.

Gastronomic Indulgence

After the performance, attendees can purchase books and have them signed. The real treat comes afterward: an exclusive five-course dinner with expertly selected wine pairings, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The courses include beetroot salmon gravlax, wild mushroom arancini, Burgundy venison pie, petit four bonbons with wine filling, and poached pear with pistachio crème pâtissière. A top sommelier will explain each wine pairing, from Chardonnay 2023 to Rosé cuvée 2024.

Comfort and Practicalities

Free on-site and underground parking is available at the venue. Guests are informed of all allergens in the dishes, ensuring everyone enjoys a carefree, culture-filled night.
