A Dutch blast since 2019, YĪN YĪN has spent the past few years gigging across the globe and soaking up ideas for their fourth album, Yatta!, arriving in January. The quartet continues to fuse disco, funk, psychedelia, and Southeast Asian colors, but this time they dive deeper into the mystique of Italo disco, letting trippy guitar effects and endless grooves spool out into a hazy, hypnotic atmosphere built for late nights and long memories.
Global touring, tighter vision
Those world tours sharpened their palette: the band’s elastic rhythm section locks into motorik pulses while shimmering synths and heat-hazed guitars bend around them. The new tracks stretch and snap, favoring momentum over ornament, with a light psychedelic glaze that never dulls the dance floor bite.
New songs, live and loud
YĪN YĪN unveils the freshest cuts live on March 18, primed to translate the record’s infinite-loop grooves into sweat and swing. Expect cosmic disco rushes, heady textures, and that signature Southeast Asian sparkle riding the low-end throb. (Cover photo: EBB Music)
